I received this R1000.00 Adwords gift from Google and since I have never checked Google’s Ad stuff out I decided to give it a try.
Also decided to try their Adsense thingy, that is why you see ads to the right and if you get this via a feed, at the bottom. Maybe, just maybe, somebody click on it and I will get a cent coming my way in a couple for year when it is big enough for Google to make a payment.
I’ve never really been keen on adding Adsense on my site as I’ve seen so many sites with 90% ads placed messily all over the place. Didn’t realize you could restrict it to one small section as you’ve done here, which doesn’t look bad at all. Perhaps it’s time to earn my 2 cents a year by promoting “Honest Bob’s Reliable Socks” or whatever else Google reckons would suit.

Yes, for that same reason I shyed away from it .. hate ads all over the place. When I played around with it, I could define the size of the ad box and one can have multiple of these and just pop in the piece of code that make sense.
I still find it weird the type of ads it sometimes display .. absolutely nothing to do with what is on my blog so chances are good you will receive a bob sock ad.
I have had it since the start of my blog 6 weeks ago and although I get 120+ views a day I dont see much revenue coming in I think it will be a loooong time before we can retire on that
but you can adjust the clours as well so they integrate very nicely in your blog maybe thats the problem they have integrated too nicely in mine

Yes, know I will not be able to retire to some exotic island on it. Just visited your site and like your photos. Did not see any ads though so you manage to hide them away well
