{"id":7683,"date":"2016-01-04T08:23:23","date_gmt":"2016-01-04T06:23:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.henriska.com\/blog\/?p=7683"},"modified":"2016-01-04T10:14:06","modified_gmt":"2016-01-04T08:14:06","slug":"hike-kromrivier-hut-28-des-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.henriska.com\/blog\/2016\/01\/hike-kromrivier-hut-28-des-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Hike &#8212; Kromrivier Hut &#8212; 28 Des 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Spend the laast couple of days of 2015 in the mountains at a hut belonging to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcsapw.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">Paarl\/Wellington section of the Mountain Club of South Africa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To get there one take the old <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Du_Toitskloof_Pass\" target=\"_blank\">Du Toitskloof pass<\/a> and just after the highest point take the turnoff to the Telkom tower. One has to pre-arrange access through the Telkom gate and after that drive for about 3km to a parking area to leave one&#8217;s car. \u00c2\u00a0Then it is a fairly easy walk of 2.2km down to to the hut. Close to the hut is a pool to cool off in the December heat. It was such a peacefull and beautifull place so see out 2015. \u00c2\u00a0We stayed their 2 nights and walked out on the morning of the 31st again. \u00c2\u00a0Enjoy the photos.<\/p>\n<div
