{"id":7567,"date":"2014-09-06T07:57:48","date_gmt":"2014-09-06T05:57:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.henriska.com\/blog\/?p=7567"},"modified":"2014-09-06T07:57:49","modified_gmt":"2014-09-06T05:57:49","slug":"back-from-the-dead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.henriska.com\/blog\/2014\/09\/back-from-the-dead\/","title":{"rendered":"Back from the Dead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, I know, this blog was dead for more than a year and there was many reasons for it which is not really important.<\/p>\n<p>So what has happened since then:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After 2 and a bit years at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.is.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">Internet Solutions<\/a> I have decided to move on work wise. \u00c2\u00a0It was a great time at IS and I learned and experienced a lot about the Internet and ISP industry in South Africa and what it take to work with last mile infrastructure for large corporates. \u00c2\u00a0Let me just say, it is a tough world out there.<\/li>\n<li>I have joined a small team in Naspers, working on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wechat.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">WeChat<\/a> for Africa and doing great things around <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wechat.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">WeChat<\/a>. \u00c2\u00a0 I will blog more about that on my other more technical blog &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mariusb.net\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Technical Side<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Tomorrow (7 Sep) I am off to go visit my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wechat.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">WeChat<\/a> colleagues in China for 11 days. \u00c2\u00a0Looking so forward to it. \u00c2\u00a0I will try to at least post some photos of my trip and the experience.<\/li>\n<li>Oh and I am still very single if anybody was wondering \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is it for now while I go and get my packing done.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, I know, this blog was dead for more than a year and there was many reasons for it which is not really important.
