Everybody says, what a great game of cricket. Yes it was exciting and good that SA won but I do not think it was a great cricket game. I always thought that cricket is a contest between bat and ball and yesterday that did not happen. It was a one sided batting performance by both teams. The bowling and fielding team had no say in the game and that cannot be good for cricket. It was purely of entertainment value for the spectators, nothing else.

Since I am interested in using next generation DVD (ie Blu-ray or HD DVD), I thought it might be worthwhile what it was all about. Here is a link to a good article that explains what all the fuss is about. Still does not say who the winner will be.
In my previous post I asked the question whether HD DVD or Blu-ray will win the DVD race in the long run. Adult entertainment is a very big market (at least so I have heard) and will that in the end decide the winner. Here is a snippet of news I just saw.
