I have just hit 20000 Spam comments on my blog in about a year. Thanks to Akismet I only had to deal with less than 50 of these.

Hi Marius, I don’t comment much, but thought I’d reassure you that I’m still reading
20k, huh? That’s nothing. Unfortunately I get so much of this stuff every day now that I probably wouldn’t know if a genuine comment got lost
although Akismet is very very good.
